Zataar and Vege Pizza Topping

I’ve given you the recipe for the best pizza dough now you have to go forth and complete them with one of the best pizza toppings ever!

Ingredients

Olive oil

1-2 Tablespoons of Zataar

1 fresh buffalo tomato or handful cherry/grape tomatoes sliced into thin wedges

Handful fresh mint leaves picked

1/2 Lebanese cucumber sliced

1/2 cup of fresh labne

Method

  1. Drizzle some olive oil over you uncooked pizza dough and then sprinkle across your desired amount of zataar (don’t hold back on it!)

  2. Place the pizza in the pizza oven and cook until dough has slightly risen and is browned or cooked to your liking.

  3. Arrange sliced tomatoes, cucumber and picked mint leaves sparingly over the base.

  4. Dollop labneh using a teaspoon over the base and then finish with sea salt flakes.

  5. Enjoy with a glass of crispy, cold Pet Nat.
